2014/2015 Terms and Conditions

These Terms, Conditions and Policies supersede all previously released versions. T-Rex Grilles reserves the right to change, modify or discontinue any of its terms, policies or programs at any time without prior notice.

The information listed below pertains to any company and its employees dealing direct with T-Rex Grilles from within the continental United States as well as those States and Territories outside the Continental U.S. and any International Customer.

Q: WEBSITE

  • Images and product information are posted at www.trexbillet.com and T-Rex Grilles FTP site.
  • All images are for the sole use of marketing T-Rex Grilles Grille Products ONLY. Misuse or misrepresentation of these images is strictly prohibited.
  • Product CD’s are available upon request for web development and print purposes.

Q: VOLUME DISCOUNTS & MARKETING ALLOWANCE

  • Discounts from T-Rex Grilles published Jobber Price are based on a two part system.
  • 50% of the Discount is considered the T-Rex Grilles Volume Discount and 50% of the discount is considered the T-Rex Grilles Marketing allowance and is separate from any Co-Op Allowance or discounts a customer may receive. These discounts are combined and figured as one whole discount from Jobber.
  • All Discounts from T-Rex Grilles published Jobber Price are based on a two part system.
  • 50% of the discount is considered the T-Rex Grilles Volume Discount and 50% of the Discount is considered the T-Rex Grilles Marketing Allowance and is separate from any Co-Op Allowance or discounts a customer may receive. These Discounts are combined and figured as one whole discount from Jobber. Example (A 30% discount consist of a 15% Volume Discount and a 15% Marketing Allowance and is figured as a single 30% discount from Jobber).

Q: TERM ACCOUNTS INFORMATION & PAYMENTS

  • NET-30 Accounts
    • Payments are due on or before the 30th day from the original invoice date of the next succeeding month and are considered past due thereafter.
    • Statements will be mailed/faxed out at the end of each month; it is the purchaser's
  • NET-10 Accounts
    • NET-10 Accounts receive a maximum 2% quick pay discount when payment is received within 10 days from original date of invoice.
    • Invoices are considered past due if payment has not been received before the 30th day after the original invoice date.
    • Statements will be mailed/faxed out at the end of each month; it is the purchaser's obligation to make the payments on time with or without a statement.
  • C.O.D. and Credit Card Accounts:
    • Forms of payments accepted by T-Rex Grilles for C.O.D. Accounts include, Company Checks, Cashiers Check and Money Orders.
    • T-Rex Grilles, at its discretion, may require new & current accounts to pay for product by use of cashiers checks or money orders.
    • T-Rex Grilles also accepts all major credits cards; these include Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express.
    • Before using a credit card, you must have a credit card agreement form on file. Please contact a Sales Representative to receive a form via fax or e-mail.
  • Returned Checks – Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF)
    • Returned checks are subject to a $25.00 return fee in addition to any other fees associated with the returned check.
    • T-Rex Grilles will not accept a Company Check as payment for a “NSF” check nor will it re-deposit a “NSF” check a second time.
    • T-Rex Grilles may require future shipments to be paid by way of cashiers check or money order.
    • 2 or more “NSF” checks will require prepayment via a credit card, bank wire transfer, cashiers check or money order prior to shipment.
  • Delinquent Accounts
    • Accounts over 30 days past due are considered delinquent and may be subject to a late payment charge of 2% per month or the maximum allowed by law.
    • Purchaser/Customer agrees to pay all collection costs and attorney’s fees necessary to collect past due amounts.
    • Failure to follow these terms may result in a suspension or cancellation of services.

Q: SHIPPING POLICIES – Single Items

  • General Shipping Information:
    • Orders are shipped ground service unless otherwise specified.
    • Currently, T-Rex Grilles ships via FEDEX and UPS (United Parcel Service).
    • Additional Shipping methods are 3-Day Service, 2-Day Service and both AM & PM Next Day Air. These deliveries are available at the customers’ expense.
    • Special Handling orders must be faxed or emailed for acceptance.
  • Single & Small Multiple Piece Orders:
    • Orders received before 3:00 pm PST on in stock items are shipped same day. Items not in stock are considered backordered and will ship as they become available. See Back Orders / Special Orders for more information.
  • Drop Shipments:
    • Orders shipped to a location other than your specified shipping address are considered a “Drop Ship Order”.
    • ALL Drop Ship orders will be assessed a $ 10.00 drop ship charge at time of Invoice, No Exceptions.
    • Drop ship orders must be faxed or e-mailed to T-Rex Grilles for accuracy, No Exceptions. Confirmations on faxed orders are available upon request.
    • T-Rex Grilles will only drop ship within the 50 United States, Excludes (Puerto Rico and other U.S. Territories).
    • Customers may request for product to be picked up by their own shipping company. Proper Documentation is the responsibility of the customer. Contact a sales representative for more details.
  • Will Call:
    • Product pick up is available at our Corona, CA facility to all T-Rex Grilles customers. Please arrange for a pick up by speaking to a sales representative.
    • Pick up hours are from 8:00AM - 4:30PM Monday – Friday. T-Rex Grilles is closed Saturday & Sundays.
  • Local Deliveries:
    • T-Rex Grilles offers local product delivery to any direct T-Rex Grilles Customers located in the Southern California Area.
    • There are minimum order requirements for this service. Please contact a Sales Representative for more information.

Q: SHIPPING POLICIES – Freight & Stock Orders

General Freight Information:
  • T-Rex Grilles ships Freight PPD on orders over $2500.00 inside California and Freight PPD on orders over $3500.00 to the remaining Continental United States. (Excludes HI, AK and Puerto Rico).
  • Orders shipped outside of the Continental U.S. are shipped FOB Corona CA to a forwarder of the customers choosing and must have a US shipping address. All international will be shipped according to the terms outlined above.
  • Freight / Stock Orders are shipped “Best Way Possible” and usually arrive in 3-7 days from ship date.
  • Customers who request a Specific Freight Company may do so at their own expense.
  • Some products are oversized and require specific shipping methods and may be subject to additional freight charges. Please contact a Sales Representative for more information.
  • Stock orders are shipped only when they have been completed and are palletized in accordance to carrier policies.
  • Freight & Stock Order Customers who require a faster delivery time other than the original ETA given will be charged shipping for the items needed to be rushed (No Exceptions). The balance of the order will be shipped best way possible when completed based on the standard freight policy and value of original order.

Q: SHIPPING DAMAGES

  • T-Rex Grilles is not responsible for product lost or damaged in transit.
  • The receiving party must report items damaged in transit to the carrier immediately (Per timeline required by carrier).
  • Denied damage claims due to unacceptable or delinquent filings will not be issued credit by T-Rex Grilles.
  • Upon approval and finalization of a claim by the carrier, credit will be issued to the due party. If needed, contact your sales representative to order replacement product; a new order / purchase order is required to ship replacement product (T-Rex Grilles will not re- ship parts off a verbal purchase order).

Q: RETURNS

  • Return Information:
    • A T-Rex Grilles RGA (Returned Goods Authorization) Request Form must be completed on all return requests.
    • All returns must have an RGA number; Product returned without an RGA will be refused, NO Exceptions.
    • RGA numbers are good for 30 days from the date of issuance.
    • Returned packages must be clearly marked with the RGA Number.
    • No returns on special order, clearance or discontinued items.
    • All returned products are subject to a 20% Restocking / Re-Boxing fee.
    • Product must be properly packaged to prevent shipping damage and shipped prepaid at customers expense.
    • Returning an item does not constitute an automatic refund and is subject to review.
    • T-Rex Grilles is not responsible for shipping costs accrued by the sender for not following standard return procedures. This includes refused packages at the warehouse.
    • Most returns are credited to the account within 10-14 days from the day the return is processed.
  • Warranty Returns (See Product Details for more Information)
    • Warranty returns must follow the same guidelines mentioned above the Returns section AND the following:
    • The T-Rex Grilles part # along with a detailed description of the damage must be included along with the T-Rex Grilles invoice number from when the product was purchased. A copy of the final sales receipt is also required.
    • T-Rex Grilles, at its own discretion, may deem a warranty return to be field destroyed at which time the customer will be notified and a credit issued.
  • Stock Adjustments:
    • In addition to the above mentioned requirements:
    • T-Rex Grilles customers are allowed a once a year Stock Adjustment based on 3% of prior year sales. Stock adjustment requests must be received by the close of business Jan 31st to be considered for stock adjustment return. No Exceptions.
    • T-Rex Grilles will require a 2 for 1 offsetting order to be placed at the time of RGA issuance.
    • All Stock adjustment must be in 100% re-sellable condition to be considered for a full credit.
    • Product must be properly packaged to prevent shipping damage and shipped prepaid.
    • Items returned new but with damaged or dirty packaging will be charged a 10% Re-Boxing fee.
    • Items returned that are not in a new re-sellable condition will not be credited and can be returned to the customer at their own expense.
    • Items not credited will be held for no more that 30 days before being disposed of. T-Rex Grilles is not responsible for replacement of these parts after 30 days.
    • Special Orders and Discontinued Items are non-refundable.

Q: Product Detail/Warranty – (Also Applies to “All Black” Finishes)

  • Traditional Billet Grille Series – (All Black Finish Available)
    • T-Rex Grilles Traditional Billet Series Grilles are manufactured from T-6 Billet aluminum and are powder coated in a DuPont® Semi-Gloss Black finish. Front face of the grille is treated to a 3-step polishing process to insure a showroom shine. Grilles come complete with all necessary hardware and step by step installation instructions and feature a limited Lifetime Warranty against material and workmanship and a 3 Year Warranty on the Finish.
  • Upper Class Series Grilles – (All Black Finish Available)
    • T-Rex Grilles Upper Class Series Grilles are made from 304 Stainless Steel and Double crimped stainless steel formed mesh. Frames are polished to a high luster and mesh is Electro Polished to exude its natural beauty. Grilles come complete with all necessary hardware and step by step installation instructions and feature a limited Lifetime Warranty against material and workmanship and a 3 Year Warranty on the Finish.
  • Sport Series Grilles – (All Black Finish Available)
    • T-Rex Grilles Sport Series Grilles are a frameless mesh design and are made from stainless steel mesh coming standard in a triple chrome or black powder coat finish. Grilles come complete with all necessary hardware and step by step installation instructions and feature a limited Lifetime Warranty against material and workmanship and a 3 Year Warranty on the Finish.
  • Torch LED Series Grilles – (All Black Finish)
    • T-Rex has integrated high power Led Light Bars into our iconic X-Metal Grilles to create the perfect blend of performance & style. All grilles are made of mild steel and have double crimped formed mesh and black powder coating. Grilles come complete with all necessary hardware and step by step installation instructions and feature a Lifetime Warranty against material and workmanship and a 3 Year Warranty on the Finish.
  • X-Metal Series Grilles – (Includes “Urban Assault Series”)
    • T-Rex Grilles X-Metal Series Grilles feature our exclusive chrome “X-Metal” stud and are available in a Polished, Semi Gloss or Matte black finish. Grilles are made in both stainless and mild steel and have double crimped mesh. Grilles come complete with all necessary hardware and step by step installation instructions and feature a limited Lifetime Warranty against material and workmanship and a 3 Year Warranty on the Finish.
  • Universal Badges, Trim & Acc. - (Applies to Finishes)
    • All badges and trim accessories are made from billet aluminum or 304 stainless steel, (items vary by product). Finishes include polished, brushed, black or matte black and most items are universal. Badges and trim pieces include all necessary hardware for installation and feature a limited Lifetime Warranty against material and workmanship and a 3 Year Warranty on the Finish.

Q: ORDERING PROCEDURES

  • Facsimile:
    • Faxed orders are accepted from all T-Rex Grilles customers.
    • Verbal orders via phone are not accepted.
    • T-Rex Grilles strongly recommends faxing your orders in for accuracy.
    • Read receipts on faxed orders are available upon request.
    • Hand written orders are acceptable. Orders that are not legible will be refused.
  • E-Mail:
    • E-Mailed orders are accepted from all T-Rex Grilles customers.
    • E-Mailed orders are recommended for accuracy, this includes Drop Ship Orders.
    • You must contact a Sales Representative to establish an e-mail order format. This helps
  • Minimum Orders:
    • A $10.00 minimum order fee will be charged on all orders that are under $50.00 in creating a uniform ordering procedure.

Q: GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION

  • T-Rex Grilles strongly recommends reading of all instructions and checking fitment before altering / painting or installing any part.
  • T-Rex Grilles and products are made from the highest quality aluminum, stainless steel and manufacturing materials.
  • Our products require normal maintenance as with most auto parts. Mild soaps, as well as aluminum and/or chrome polishes will keep T-Rex Grilles products looking new for years to come.
  • We offer re-polishing of billet products for a nominal fee. Contact customer service for more information.

Q: GENERAL ACCOUNT INFORMATION

All credit terms and policies requested for New & Current customers are subject to review and must be approved by T-REX Grilles. Before a customer is considered for an account, certain requirements are needed, please read the list of requirements below.
  • An application must be filled out in its entirety and signed acknowledging these Terms & Policies.
  • Processing of account applications may take as many as 7-10 business days before release. Please be sure to send in all required paperwork to avoid any extended delays.
  • Applications filled out incorrectly will be refused.

Q: CREDITS

  • Credits are posted within 10-14 days business from the day the return is processed.
  • Credits are applied to your account as a “Credit Due”.
  • Credits posted to your account not used within 60 days from the day of issuance, will automatically apply the credit to the oldest invoice first.
  • Please contact the accounting department to apply credits.

Q: Co–Op:

  • Co-Op opportunities are offered to all T-Rex Grilles Grille customers are set at a maximum of 2%.
  • Payouts are capped at a maximum $5000.00 per year and payable after first year of performance.
  • Acceptable forms of advertising include; TV and radio, national and local publications and corporate catalog, print ads and internet banners.
  • Any and all T-Rex Grilles ads must feature a clear and accurate image/picture of the T-Rex Grilles product(s) advertised along with our company logo.
  • Proof of performance is mandatory, No Exceptions.

Q: CANCELLED ORDERS

  • Cancelled orders are accepted ONLY by phone with a faxed or emailed confirmation.
  • Faxed cancellations MUST be followed up with a phone call for confirmation.
  • Cancellations WILL NOT be accepted on voice messages.
  • Please note: Once an order ships, there is no way to recall the shipment.

Q: BACK ORDERS – SPECIAL ORDERS

  • Back Orders:
    • Items not in stock will automatically be put on back order and will ship as soon as available.
    • If a grille you ordered has an extended build time, you will be notified. At which time, you will have the option to continue with the order or cancel it.
  • Special Orders:
    • All Special orders require a faxed or e-mailed order. Verbal orders via phone on Special Order Items are not accepted.
    • T-Rex Grilles will request a deposit at the time you place your order.
    • Special Orders are Non-Returnable and Non-Cancelable.

Q: ACCOUNT SET-UP GUIDELINES – (Applies to Current & New Customers)

Terms:
  • Terms are open to all customers on approved credit.
  • Two types of Term Accounts are available, Net-30 and Net-10. See “Term Accounts Info & Payments” below for more information.
  • A Personal Guarantee must be signed before any terms are offered.
  • T-Rex Grilles reserves the right to change, modify or discontinue any of its terms, policies or programs at any time without prior notice.
